COSTA GEORGIADIS VISITS EUMUNDI STATE SCHOOL Jon Gemmell
The school welcomed the visit from Costa Georgiadis whose SBS program focuses on how to tread lightly – embracing nature’s cycles and seasons, investigating and championing our local produce from its source, and illustrating that in gardens, plants aren’t the only things that grow.....people do too.
His visit was hosted by Leonie Shanahan from Edible School Gardens who is currently working with all children from the school in the school food gardens. Costa was very impressed with the expanse of the gardens and with the plans that are in the pipeline for the school gardens.
